This Hummer’s maroon paint job, completed in 2011. It rolls on impressive 22-inch Fuel Wheels wrapped in Yokohama Geolandar M/T tires, sized at 37×13.50R22. The original 16-inch CTIS aluminum wheels, complete with military tires, are included, and a CTIS operation video is available. The vehicle also features new leveling springs, which raise it 1.5-2 inches over stock for improved wheel clearance and ride comfort. Enhancing its practicality, this H1 is equipped with a Predator brush guard, a roof rack, a snorkel intake, and upgraded LED headlights, ensuring it stands out wherever it goes. Additional highlights include a hinged spare tire mounting bracket, with a spare wheel and tire equipped with CTIS included. Inside, the tan interior offers seating for four adults and benefits from a 1997.5 HVAC system upgrade, ensuring a more comfortable cabin experience. Modern conveniences abound, such as power windows, door locks, and mirrors, along with a power package that includes cruise control, visor mirrors, and a deluxe rearview mirror. Entertainment is provided by an Eclipse aftermarket head unit, offering HD Radio, CD, MP3, and WMA playback. Additional refinements include new carpeting throughout, aluminum switch holders, and interior door window switch bezels. For towing, this H1 is equipped with a trailer towing unit and an integrated towing brake controller, adding to its versatility as an all-around adventure machine.
Engine
Under the hood, this 1997 H1 boasts a 6.5L Turbo-Diesel V8 paired with a GM 4L80e 4-speed automatic transmission, delivering power to all four wheels via a 4WD system. The factory output of 210 horsepower and 440 lb-ft of torque gets a significant boost thanks to the RapTorq (Predator Motorsports) High-Performance ECM package, pushing the output over 100 horsepower beyond stock. Additional upgrades include a new turbo boost wastegate, new injectors, and a new fuel pump, ensuring this H1 has the muscle to back up its rugged appearance. In terms of off-road capabilities, this H1 features front and rear Torsen-type differentials, a lockable center differential, and helical gear-reduction hubs. Its in-board disc brakes and driveline protection add extra confidence during demanding terrain.
