Exterior and Interior:
Like its predecessors, the 8th generation Corvette has modern and edgy styling with a low swooping roofline. However, a major change in the engine layout (moving from front-engine rear wheel drive to rear-engine rear wheel drive) changed its formula and brought the design to the modern age. This gorgeous example is finished in a Torch Red paint job with the transparent removable roof panel available as an option. This example is also optioned with the Z51 package, which gives it a stylish rear spoiler along with performance brakes painted in yellow and performance suspension. The chrome exterior badges, carbon flash metallic painted outside mirrors go well with the OEM chrome wheels. These wheels boast black wheel locks and Jake logo center caps. The exterior has been ceramic coated for added protection. The interior of the C8 is loaded with modern technology with two infotainment displays providing the driver with performance information. The driver-focused interior is wrapped in beautiful Sky Cool Gray and black leather. Engine:
Behind the driver sits the powerhouse of the Corvette: a 6.2 liter 16 OHV V8 that is cocooned in an engine cover in Edge Red producing 490 horsepower and 465 lb-ft of torque. With a performance exhaust and carbon fiber intake, this engine can breathe better. It is mated to an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission providing lightning-fast yet smooth shifts. The power is transferred to the wheels through a performance ratio rear axle and electronic limited slip differential, moving the C8 from 0-60 mph in just 2.9 seconds.
